The Volusia County Council recently approved up to 156 new homes in two new developments on the west side of the county in Deland. The first will be Located on 1920 N Woodland Blvd in Deland and will consist of 74 single family homes on 32 acres. The second is 82 homes on 29 acres located at 1770 W. Plymouth Ave in Deland. This is a good decision that will benefit the area in a number of ways.
First, the new developments homes will create jobs. The construction of the homes will create temporary jobs, and the homes themselves will create permanent jobs for people who will live and work in the area.
Second, the new homes will boost the local economy. The people who live in the homes will spend money on local businesses, which will help to create even more jobs and economic growth.
Finally, the new homes will provide much-needed housing for families and individuals. Volusia County is a growing area, and the new homes will help to meet the demand for housing.
I believe that the Council’s decision to approve the new homes was a good one. The new homes will benefit the area in a number of ways, and I am confident that they will be a success.
