We might have ourselves another Daytona Beach Brewery in the famous Corbin Building. Back in 2022, the city of Daytona Beach purchased the Corbin Building. The Corbin Building is a historic 39,000-square-foot building located in downtown Daytona Beach. It was built in 1888 and is considered to be one of the oldest buildings in the city. The building has been vacant for several years. The plan was to build a public market until this South Carolina Brewery put a bid in to purchase the building.
Savage Craft Ale Works is a brewery in West Columbia, South Carolina. It was founded in 2016 by a team of veterans who wanted to create a space where people could come together to enjoy good beer and good company. The brewery has a wide variety of beers on tap, including IPAs, stouts, porters, and sours. They also have a full kitchen that serves up delicious food to pair with their beer.
Savage Craft Ale Works is more than just a brewery. It’s also a community hub. They host regular events, such as trivia nights, live music, and food truck festivals. I would imagine their goal is to do a mix of public market combined with the brewery as the hub. Similar to what Crooked Can did in Winter Garden.
As craft beer fan, this gets me very excited.
