Sure this post is to plug my new listing in Waters Edge. But listen there is a lot of value to pull from learning about living in Waters Edge. When they first began construction I was in 4th grade and lived relatively close. Arguably Waters Edge changed my life, a bit dramatic I know. As a result, they opened up a brand new School, Creekside Middle School. Creekside had it’s first class in 2001 which just so happened to be when I was going into 6th grade. How convenient. My parents decided to send me there since it was closer and it happened to be the best Middle School in Volusia County. I met a ton of amazing, life long friends there. The school district for Waters Edge is it’s biggest selling point. It’s zoned for Cypress Creek Elementary a 5 star school, Creekside Middle School which remains the top middle school in Volusia County, and nationally ranked Spruce Creek High School.
There are a little over 1,200 homes here and I would venture to guess 60%-70% are families with children. The homes were built by the award winning ICI Homes. Their homes are some of the best in the nation which is why the value of homes here has increased by 37% in the last 2 years.
